History

Faith Christian Academy (FCA) formed in 1996 as a result of a merger between two large Christian Schools located in Northeast Florida. The merger, which produced one main campus in the Regency area, left many Nassau county residences looking for a community-based Christian school without the long commute. When Pastor Rob Goyette of Living Waters World outreach Center became aware of the dilemma, he and a handful of committed volunteers decided to lead the community in the formation of FCA. The Association of Christian Schools International, otherwise known as A.C.S.I., agreed to take the school under its wings and provide counsel and guidance to ensure its long-term success. Seemingly overnight, the school had more than 40 students and was quickly in need of more space.

Bryan Alvaré came on as Headmaster in 2007, and the vision has grown. We currently accept students from K4 through 8th grade, but our goal is to one day provide a state-of-the-art private Christian School from K4 through 12th grade complete with athletic fields, gymnasium, and a cafeteria. We see that coming true, and 43 acres on CR107 has already been purchased toward that end.

Faith Christian Academy is truly a community-based school, with 23 churches represented in its student body. Guided by caring, Christian teachers, students at FCA receive a strong academic foundation centered on the word of God.
