Florida School Choice

As we speak with families, we realize that many of you have not heard the great news!  Florida, as of July 1st, has school choice. Meaning you can choose where you want your child and their educational tax dollars to go

A recent Florida law removes the financial barrier for most of the families we serve. In March 2023, Governor DeSantis signed into law House Bill 1.  This law removes the previous income restrictions on Florida educational credits (scholarships) and provides for Educational Savings Accounts (ESA).

Under the new law, the funds (expected to be around $7,500-$8,000 per student) can be spent on approved instructional costs, tutoring, and fees for various exams in addition to private school tuition.  Families who currently receive scholarships and whose incomes fall below 185% of the federal poverty line will receive first priority, followed by those with incomes up to 400% above the federal poverty line.

What this all means for you: for most of our families, the cost of attending our private Christ-centered school will be free or extremely discounted! If you were denied a Florida scholarship previously, reapply.  If you have not applied, it’s fairly easy.  The hardest part of the application process is ensuring you have all of the documentation ready to apply (birth certificates, social security cards, recent pay stubs).

We currently have openings for Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grade students.

We are so excited that the largest obstacle to your child attending our school has been removed.  Praise God for this opportunity and provision and bless our legislature for writing it and the Governor for approving it!
